帝釈様の境内には様々なおみくじかあります。山門を入ってすぐ、右手には獅子舞のおみくじがあり、200円入れると踊りながらおみくじを咥えてくれるのですが残念ながら日本語なので、一応ゲストの方にはそれでなくて端の方にある100円の英語のおみくじを勧めています。浅草で凶を引いちゃったからもう嫌だというゲストもいるし、はじめてというカップルは真剣に読みあっていて、この時私は写真を撮るのですが、素の姿が見られて微笑ましいのです。帝釈様の日本語のおみくじには結構「凶」があるのですが、英語バージョンは吉しかでないのでありがたいです。
あるゲストの「小吉」Quite Good にはこんな和歌が載っていました。
春風に 池の氷もとけはてて のどけき花のかげぞうつれる
The ice which covered the pond has melted away in the spring sun. The flowers are reflecting their shadows on the water.
